One time, when I was a little girl, I carried around a toy soldier everywhere I went; his name was Tashaki. I would coodle him like my own baby, yell at him when he was bad and hit him when he tried to attack me. Tashaki and I were swimming in Lake Vermillion when a giant snake swam up to me, demanded I either sacrifice my own life, or the life of Tashaki to save the swimmers, fishers and boaters in the lake. I didn't want to die, but I didn't want everyone else in the lake to perish. So, making what remains the biggest decision in my life thus far, I sacrificed Tashaki to the giant snake, Mormodite. To this day I miss Tashaki and wonder what his life would be like had that horrible day not occured.

I used to be obsessed with my left pinky toe nail. If it grew beyond my actual toe, which it did often, I would take my daddy's needle nose pliers and rip it off. Usually, blood would gush from the place where my nail bed rested, onto the floor and soil my momma's eggshell white bathroom rug. Once I removed it, nothing but bloody, moist flesh remained. I can't remember why my left pinky toe nail used to grow to elongated lengths, or why I became so obsessed with removing it, but I do know that to this day, my left pinky toe nail remains non-existant. Perhaps this is why I begin to cry whenever I see my wife joyfully clipping her toe nails - more specifically, her left pinky toe nail.

When I was a little girl I was completely obsessed with my tumbling doll. The dolls that do the somersaults. I thought she was the coolest toy in the entire world and didn’t want to play with anything else. I did everything with that doll. I even slept with her by my side every night. One night my dad was in a rodeo in town and I brought my doll with to watch him rodeo with me. The rodeo lasted until around 10:30 and I had fallen asleep long before then, unknowingly dropping my doll in my sleep and leaving her under the cold benches, all alone. The next morning I woke up and searched the entire house for my doll, but I couldn’t find it anywhere and neither could my mom. So my dad drove back to the rodeo grounds and asked around for my little purple tumbling doll but no one had seen it. He looked at where we had been sitting and found my dolly lying under the benches. I was so completely happy when I got my dolly back. I grew out of that doll, but it still sits in my room and I see her every day.

During the summer, my bestfriend, and my sister and i would be outside all the time. We would ride bikes, play barbies, play house have campouts/sleepovers. When we rode our bikes, we would play a game we made up called Cops and Robbers. We would sometimes play that game with my brothers and their best friend. Most of the time we played barbies, because we were oppsessed with them.

As a young child and still to this day I have had one obsession I've grown famous for. My love for the ever so classical Rocky movies. My family is big on boxing, sports in general actually. I own every Rocky movie and I know each one like the back of my hand. My family doesn't recall how i got into this obsession, but they admire it. When the newest Rocky, Rocky Balboa, came out 2 years ago in December, I had my mom take me out of school at noon to go see it. Awhile later, I purchased the movie the day it came out. I can recall a countless number of times, where I have just sat at home and watched every movie back to back, from first to last. I'm so inspired by Rocky. I always dreamed of being the champion he portrays, but my boxing days are far gone. I know every little thing about each movie, I've seen each one a gazillion times!

When I was a little boy,
:)
I used to and still to this day have an obsession with Harry Potter. I used to get the books the hour they came out and id have them read within a day. I used to stay up all night and read, and my mom would come in and I thought I was the best actor cause id out the book on my chest and tilted my glasses off of my head and feigned a deep sleep. I always thought I was the best actor when she never woke me up. I still love me some new HP!!

When I was little I lived by a house full of boys. They loved to play "boy games" and they got me into playing their games. About once a week we would set up a baseball diamond in their back yard. We would set up teams of three people a piece and get our parents to come and watch our games. I really enjoyed playing baseball with them. We would also make cities in their sand box with their toy soldiers as the people. We would make buildings out of sand and we would dig to make a "river" and fill it up with water. My friends moved out of their house but the memories last forever.

I remember when i was little, around six, i always had to have a barbie with me. Everywhere i went, i had to have a barbie with me. Preferablly baby Kelly. I remember specifically i was walking beside a sewer/creek, i leaned over to dip her hair in the water as if she was swimming. By accident, i had dropped baby Kelly into the water. I literally got in there and grabbed her before she floated down. It was hilrious just remembering every holiday or special occasion, i knew i could always expect a barbie.

When I was young, I loved to act like mom. My kids were all dolls. I changed their diaper, fed them, and carry them at my back, too. One day, I was at my parent's room and I found cosmetics. Soon after, my lips were red, eyes were covered with creepy blue eyeshadows. And if I remember it correctly, I mixed her perfumes and lotions to make a meal for my baby dolls.
Of course, right after mom got home she figured it out the things that I did when she was gone. But she was generous. It was not a good thing that I messed up her things without permission, but she just lightly admonished me for awhile rather than got mad and scolding me. It still remained a cute but stupid memory in my mind. haha:)

When I was but a wee child, I had this obsession with trapping rabbits. But I didn't just trap these rabbits any old style. I used the Elmer Fudd box and stick technique. I got close a couple times, but I never caught any, so I started to use bait. (Carrots, cabbage, lettuce, etc.) Even then, these rabbits were too smart for me. One time, I was waiting for about 1 hr., and I looked at my box, and all of my bait was eaten! When I went inside, my little brother was munching on some crip, chilly carrots. To this day, I can't watch Loony Toons without thinking of the good old days.

When i was younger i canstantly was wearing my batman cape. the only time that i didn't have it on was when my mom or dad would take it off me when i was sleeping. Or i had to take a bath cause i didnt want it to get wet. my mom said that i had that cape from when i was one till i was four. And i was obsessed with it the whole time. i dont remeber why i finally got rid of it but i guess we all out grow some things. When i was little batman was my hero i had all his movies. and i watched them all the time. On my third birthday i even got a batman car i loved that thing too but i still favored the cape. I used to jump off of all the furnitue and pretend that i had my grappling hook and that no one could stop me.
